Creative Process

My visual inspiration for creating these posters was vintage record covers and concert posters. Throughout the poster, the emphasis is on bold typography and contrasting shapes and textures, creating a cohesive visual design for Sriranjani. Inspiration also came in the form of older indian product design, like matchboxes, and other physical products.

I selected and designed the other sections of the poster (including the photographs) to complement the vintage feel of the title font. After selecting and arranging the images on the poster, I felt something was missing, so I added botanical illustrations of Jasmine to provide a strong vintage contrast to the polished nature of the photographs.
